What customers say?

“ Got some food to go from Chef Gregory’s. The pulled pork and slaw are such a perfect combo. SO GOOD. The ribs were fallingggg off the bone, so tender and juicy. An excellent dry rub with killer flavor. ”

“ I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chef Gregory’s BBQ Emporium in Atascadero, and I was thoroughly impressed with the overall experience. As someone who’s always dreamed of trying new places around town, this visit felt extra special—and it definitely didn’t disappoint. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The interior was clean and stylish, creating the perfect vibe for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The staff greeted me with a smile and provided excellent service throughout, staying attentive without being overbearing. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of smokiness and seasoning. It was served on a fresh, soft bun that held everything together perfectly. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming. Exploring new restaurants in Atascadero has always been something I looked forward to, and Chef Gregory’s BBQ Emporium reminded me exactly why. Whether you’re grabbing a bite for lunch or enjoying a nice dinner out, I’d highly recommend this place. It offers great food, a welcoming environment, and service that makes you feel like a valued guest. I’ll definitely be back. ”

“ Stopped in for my first time this evening and put together a little sampler. The storefront is a little spars with minimal seating inside and out. My order including 4 oz of Ribs, a 7 oz Chicken Breast, 4 oz of Pork Belly, and a couple of pieces of corn bread. All of the plates came with Beans and Cole Slaw (which I didn't take as I'm generally not a fan of Slaw) Over all the food was good to very good. I thought the ribs were a little dry but had great flavor. The chicken breast was outstanding, moist and flavorful. The Pork Belly was delicious and almost like candy. I thought the bean were great, full of ham and flavor and the corn bread was more the consistency of cake but also delicious! In All, I have to concur with Chef Gregory the food is definitely 5 star! I'll be back. ”

“ Chef Gregory is the real deal of BBQ, a few days ago I tried his tri tip plate and it was perfect, hitting all of the right notes. His bbq sauce is gluten free which is an extra bonus for me. And, his homemade peanut brittle is the bomb: I bought his maple bacon pnut brittle because it is dairy and gluten free (Yep, you read that right!) and it was so good that it should be illegal. Everything is delicious and his service is warm and inviting; when you pick up your order, it feels as if you have just stopped by his house to visit with him. A+++ ”

“ All of the meat was smoked to perfection! The coleslaw is finely shredded, very simple And delicious. It goes very well with the meat and was my favorite side. The brown butter cake is amazing! It’s great by itself or with the caramel sauce. I haven’t searched lately, but I would be surprised if this is not the best BBQ joint on the CCoast. Great work, Chef and team! ”

“ Really good stuff here. The seasoning that's dusted on at the end, has a flavor unique to Chef Gregory's. Definitely worth trying. ”

“ Just had lunch at Chef Gregory's BBQ Emporium in downtown Atascadero and it was DELISH. The pork belly was phenomenal! Definitely will be back! ”

“ I work late, so haven't had the chance to stop by this place. Anyways, I bought some food to-go and drove back home so fast because I was trying to get to this pork belly. It was sooo good. I also got the baby back ribs and brown butter cake which was just excellent. Seasoning was on point and proteins were so tender! I will be back ”
